AI is becoming a bigger part of how we work on the web, and I believe in using it in a way that feels clear, ethical, and genuinely helpful for my clients.

At Tree Duck Design, AI supports the work I do, but it never replaces the strategy, creativity, and care that go into your brand and website.

What this means for you

When we work together, you can feel confident that:

  • Your website and brand are always shaped by real human thinking and strategy
  • AI is used to enhance quality and efficiency, not to cut corners
  • Everything you receive is reviewed, refined, and approved by me personally

You’re not getting a “generated” website.
You’re getting a thoughtful, strategic piece of work that’s built to support your business.

Where AI supports the process

I may use AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Perplexity) to support parts of the process like:

  • Brainstorming ideas and creative directions
  • Supporting content structure and early drafts
  • Helping shape and refine written content so it’s easier for you to review, tweak, and make your own
  • Researching keywords and search trends
  • Exploring different ways to communicate your message clearly

I know that writing about yourself can often feel like one of the hardest parts of creating a website. Using AI in this way helps us get past that initial blank page and turn your ideas into something clear, confident, and aligned with your brand.

This allows me to work more efficiently and bring a fresh perspective, while still making sure everything feels authentic to you.

Always human-led

Every piece of work goes through me.

That means I:

  • Review and refine all AI-assisted content
  • Ensure everything reflects your voice, values, and audience
  • Apply strategy, design thinking, and SEO knowledge
  • Make final decisions based on experience, not automation

AI helps speed things up, but it’s my expertise that shapes the final result.

Your data and privacy

Your trust matters.

If AI tools are used during your project:

  • Only limited, relevant information is used
  • Sensitive or confidential details are never shared without your consent
  • I only use trusted platforms with strong data protection practices
  • Everything is handled in line with UK GDPR and my Privacy Policy

A quick note on accuracy

AI is a powerful tool, but it’s not perfect.

While I carefully review everything before it’s shared with you, I always recommend:

  • Reviewing final content before publishing
  • Raising any questions or concerns early
  • Treating content as part of a collaborative process

You’re always part of the decision-making, and nothing goes live without your approval.

Open and honest communication

If I use AI in your project, I’ll always be open about it.

You’re welcome to ask:

  • How it’s being used
  • What it’s helping with
  • Or request a more hands-on, fully manual approach

This is your brand and your website, and you should feel completely comfortable with how it’s created.

Why I use AI (and why it benefits you)

Used well, AI allows me to:

  • Work more efficiently without compromising quality
  • Explore more creative directions, faster
  • Support SEO and research with better insights
  • Focus more time on strategy, design, and results

Which ultimately means a smoother, more effective experience for you.

The bottom line

Your website should feel like you.

AI is simply a tool behind the scenes.
The thinking, strategy, and creativity are always human, intentional, and tailored to your business.
